For clients and freelancers both.
Every payment for work found on BotPool goes through BotPool. Not partly, not "just this once".
That means no arranging payment off the platform, and no swapping contact details in order to move the work somewhere else. Taking a contract off-platform can cost you your account.
It isn't only a rule for its own sake. Escrow — BotPool holding the client's payment until the work is confirmed — along with dispute resolution and every other protection depends on the contract living here. Work done off-platform has none of it.
You're also expected to keep client information confidential, during the project and after it.
A few other things the platform terms rule out, for everyone: harassing, abusing or discriminating against anyone; giving false information or misrepresenting who you are or what you can do; and using BotPool for anything illegal or fraudulent.
If you're the freelancer, one more: don't deliver plagiarised, stolen or AI-generated content unless the client has agreed to it. On a marketplace for AI work that sounds odd, so to be clear: if the deliverable itself is AI-generated, the client has to have agreed to that.
