For clients and freelancers both — the same rules seen from each side.
Ownership of work delivered on BotPool follows one default rule, and it looks slightly different depending on which side you're on.
If you're the client: once the project is paid in full, the deliverables are yours. That's the default and it happens automatically on final payment, with nothing extra to sign. What doesn't transfer is what the freelancer brought with them — their own tools, methods, templates, and anything that existed before your project. They keep those and will reuse them elsewhere.
If you're the freelancer: ownership of the finished deliverables passes to the client when they pay in full. You keep everything you brought to the job. You can also show completed work in your portfolio, unless the client asked for confidentiality or exclusivity.
Either way, anything different from the default has to be agreed in writing before work begins. If a project is sensitive, the client should say so before work starts rather than after.
