How do I hire someone?

How to hire on the BotPool marketplace: browse or post a job, where posts and contracts live, message first, escrow until you're satisfied.

For clients hiring on the marketplace.

There are two ways to hire on the BotPool marketplace, and plenty of clients use both:

  • Browse the categories and freelancer profiles (Explore → AI Developers or Gigs in your account menu) and buy a service package directly.

  • Post a project brief with the Post A Job button and let freelancers come to you with proposals. Your posts are under My Jobs; proposals, orders and contracts are under Engagement.

A freelancer's BotPool profile shows their portfolio, the tools and tech stack they list, and ratings from past clients. Before you commit, message the person. You'll learn more from how quickly and clearly someone replies than from anything on their profile.

Your payment is held in escrow while the work happens — BotPool holds it, so it has left your card but hasn't reached the freelancer. It's released when you confirm you're satisfied, not before.

You can hire more than one person for the same project — one for the build, another for the content — and manage each engagement separately from your client dashboard. To work with someone again, rehire them from your project history rather than searching from scratch.
